- April - Mary graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in Sociocultural Anthropology. So glad to finally be done!
- May - Moved into our new three-bedroom apartment. We are still settling in but are much more comfortable here and really like the setup. We actually live across the street from where we first met and next door to where I was living at the time. We also live next door to one of my brothers and his family. It's great.
- June - Paul officially started the Police Academy. He is loving it so far and shows me things he learns all the time. He will make an awesome cop!
- July - We have some really big upcoming news... just like to keep ya all on the edge of your seats! Check back soon!!

Special Days
What were you doing on March 8th, 2009?
Paul and I were seeing each other for the first time...
We have now known each other for two years exactly. It is easy for us to remember out first meeting because it was a "blind date" and one that we had both looked forward to for a long time. If you haven't already, you can read about it here.
A lot has happened since that first initial meeting and we have much to be grateful for. Most importantly, each other, and our wonderful marriage. We have enjoyed many adventures together these past two years and in our first year and a half of married life. It's really been great. Our friend, Sam Menasco, who set us up, will always have a special place in our story as well as our hearts, and we are grateful for him. We are thankful for all of you too! Thanks for sharing life with us.

Lover's Day
My poor Paul spent Valentine's Day sick in bed. I did my best to help him feel better. I made him some homemade chicken noodle soup and brought him a personalized "I [heart] Paul" cookie from BYU, but it was still a bummer to have him so miserable on such a special day. And he was pretty miserable...
Don't let that worry you though, the sly fox still found a way to surprise his sweetheart. On a quick dash out to pick up some medicine (which he insisted on doing so he could get a "break" from the house), he got me some beautiful flowers and delicious chocolates, all without raising a single suspicion.

That evening, we joined my family for their traditional candle-lit dinner of chicken cordon bleu. We doorbell ditched them with their valentine and enjoyed our surprises from them. Then we all watched Chocolat, overdosing on chocolate and candy the whole time. It was a wonderful day. And Paul is better now. I love my husband. We heart you all and hope you had a happy holiday too!!!
